The connections and friendships made were well beyond expectations. The warm, inviting and inclusive atmosphere made an event that could have been intimidating, feel welcoming and comfortable, right from Shane's opening comments. The topics covered and the speakers themselves were phenomenal. I cannot wait to go back!2022 Participant
Food and Drink
The General’s Quarters (or GQ) is the official after-hours venue for the Lightchasers Nature Photography Conference.
Located at the Stardust Motel, just a short walk away from the Heritage Inn, the GQ is Pincher Creek’s premiere dining establishment. Featuring an incredible menu for both breakfast and dinner as well as an outdoor patio and wood-fired pizza oven, the GQ is the perfect place to get together with friends when you’re not out in the field shooting.
Portfolio reviews and our gallery of winning images from our photo contest will also be held in the basement of the GQ in their spacious rec room. Conference attendees will enjoy a 10% discount on food and beverages at the GQ.
