Brand Partners – March 14, 2022

And speaking of brand partners, Lightchasers is excited to announce our title sponsor, Fujifilm! We’re proud to have Fujifilm join us as the title sponsor of the inaugural Lightchasers Nature Photography Conference. Fujifilm has been a leading innovator in image making for over 85 years and their current line of GFX cameras are perfect for nature photographers. “We’re excited to have the opportunity to get our latest Fujifilm GFX cameras into the hands of Lightchasers attendees so that they can test them in the wild,” said Sr. Brand Manager, Mark Montpetit.  “We look forward to further connecting with the Canadian nature photography community.”

Starting in early April, attendees of the Lightchasers conference will be able to sign up for any of our Fujifilm Breakout Sessions where you’ll be able to try their gear in some of the most beautiful locations the Pincher Creek area has to offer!

In addition to Fujifilm, we’re also proud to announce our two event co-sponsors as well: Kase Filters and McBain Camera! We will be hosting additional Breakout Sessions with Kase Filters and McBain will be offering free, on-site senor cleanings for attendees as well as having their ambassadors on hand to answer any questions you might have about what gear would be right for you!

We’re so proud to work with Fujifilm, Kase and McBain and also have in-kind partnerships in place with Nikon and Photopills with more in the works as we speak! Being able to work with these brands to put their gear directly in your hands is an aspect of the conference we’re incredibly excited for.

Lastly, presenter Joe Dejardins recently had Lightchasers organizer, Shane Turgeon, as a guest on his Nature Photo Guys Podcast with Chris Gibbs where they discuss photography, mental health, gear and, of course, the Lightchasers conference! Check it out on YouTube! If you don’t want to sit through the whole thing but would like to hear about the conference, we start chatting about it at the 51 minute mark.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
