Enter the Lightchasers Photo Contest!

Our Lightchasers Nature Photography Conference photo competition is now open!

Between March 1st and May 1st, 2024, attendees of the conference can enter up to five photos total in any of our four primary categories:

  • Natural Landscapes (includes intimates and small scenes)
  • Astro (includes nightscapes and deep sky but not composites)
  • Wildlife
  • Monochrome

Note, entrants are allowed five photos TOTAL, not five photos per category.

There will be a winner for each category as well as an overall award for Lightchaser Photographer of the Year for those whose images achieve excellence in 3 or more categories. Our winners and runners up will receive prize packs courtesy of our sponsors and the winning images will be showcased during our opening night award ceremony and image critiques!

Composite and AI images are not allowed. Finalists will be asked to provide raw files for verification. Images will first be judged by our selection team before moving on to final judging by members of our presenter panel. 

Please upload jpegs only. Images not to exceed more than 5mb. Please name your files as per the following convention:

FirstName_LastName_Category_01
 
So for example, if I'm entering five different images in two categories they would look like:
