2026 Photo Contest Now Open!

Our annual photo contest is now open! The following link contains all of the information you’ll need for the contest as well as the submission form.

Attendees can enter a maximum of 5 photos across four different categories and anyone who achieves excellence in 3 or more of the categories will be eligible to win Lightchaser of the Year! Viktoria Haack and Shane Turgeon will once again be hosting our award ceremony and image critique on the Friday evening where we’ll announce all of the winners and runners up, review some of our favourite submissions and positively discuss what does – and doesn’t – go into award winning images.

Category winners and runners up will receive prizes generously donated by our sponsors and partners. The entry period is open from now until April 26th and we encourage you to get your entries in soon!

As we get closer to the conference, we’ll be communicating with you more and more, getting you all of the information you need to plan your best Lightchasers experience. Here are some key dates to watch out for:

March 15th: final presenters, special guests, brand partners and field sessions announced

March 30th: conference merch pre-orders go live

April 4th: field session registration opens

April 15th: final schedule released

April 26th: photo contest closes
